Mais uma grande banda que irá para sempre ficar na história da música!
Devido a desentendimentos entre os membros,a banda deixou de existir.
Passados uns anos depois do fim de Pantera,ainda havia alguma esperança de os membros se voltarem a reunir.
Toda essa esperança desapareceu quando o guitarrista Dimebag Darrel foi assassinado enquanto dava um concerto com a sua (na altura) banda Damageplan.

Dimebag Darrell Assassinado Durante o Concerto - Sapo Vídeos

O assassino, Nathan Gale, subiu para o palco e matou a tiro 4 pessoas, o guitarrista Darrell, dois membros do staff da banda e um fã que tentava reanimar o guitarrista.

Nathan Gale foi depois morto por um polícia chamado James Niggemeyer com um único tiro de caçadeira, numa altura em que Gale tinha já a arma apontada à cabeça de um refém que fizera.

Uma banda ainda pouco divulgada mas que eu adoro são os russos Stardown.

Os Chimaira são uma banda de metal de Cleveland, Ohio nos Estados Unidos. Os rótulos musicais atribuídos à banda são de Nu Metal (início da carreira) e Metalcore/Groove Metal (actualmente). Mark Hunter e companhia sempre disseram que os Chimaira pertencem ao grupo do verdadeiro metal, de bandas como Slayer ou Kreator, e não ao Nu Metal. O nome da banda é derivado de um ser da mitologia grega chamado Chimera, um monstro com cabeças de leão, dragão e bode.

Mais uma banda ainda em ascensão são os fantásticos japoneses Heavensdust.

Já os conheço desde o início de 2008 e as suas músicas são muito poderosas e melódicas. A voz de Shin é fantástica.
A música é descrita como Rock moderno com uma mistura de música tradicional Japonesa. O resultado não podia ser melhor.

Este vídeo serve apenas como uma pequena amostra da qualidade da banda. A musica chama-se "Blast" e vem no mais recente álbum da banda.

A minha música favorita deste último álbum é a número 5, no entanto não encontrei nenhum vídeo, por isso criei um vídeo com algumas das minhas fotos tiradas em 2008, juntamente com "I've Lost Too Much" dos HeavensDust. Vale a pena ouvir.
